Role Purpose
Deliverables
- Assist the External Relations Team to monitor and analyse anti-rights trends discourse / mobilisation strategies.
- Development of a weekly newsletter sharing key insights and intelligence for the membership.
- Contribute to technical assistance, coaching and mutual learning with IPPF EN’s regional network-based on needs’ assessment data gathered.
- Where relevant,support to the content gathering and drafting of other materials for membership awareness-raising.
- Where required, support resilience building and preparedness activities for our Member Association and community network, including partnerships outreach and connection.
- Where relevant, support the implementation of winning narratives initiatives.
- When needed/relevant, on ad hoc basis, support community engagement activities
- Opportunities for learning from the membership via attendance at mutual learning calls, Community of Practice sessions, External Relations Team meetings and beyond.
Overall Project(s) Support:
- Support the compiling of project information and reporting.
- Contribute, when needed, to the logistical organisation of online and offline events, mutual learning meetings and representation meetings.
- Provide administrative support for grant-making and the contracting of different consultancies/service providers.
- To perform other duties as agreed with supervisor.
Essential Skills
- Right to work in Belgium.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); fluency in other languages spoken in Europe is desirable.
- Commitment to gender equality, non-discrimination, diversity, and youth participation area must.
- Computer skills: MSOffice, database, electronic filing systems, MailChimp.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Interest in SRHR,Gender Equality, Human Rights
- Experience in mobilizing for social change (as a volunteer or as part of a social movement, grassroots group or NGO); and/or interest and/or (volunteer) experience in advocacy are assets.

- Open-minded, diplomatic, empathic and flexible.
- Interest in, and/or general understanding of the anti-rights movement targeting SRHR and Gender Equality; Interest in value-based framing and narratives.
- An academic background in European or International Relations, Political Sciences, Communications, Gender Equality, SRHR and other aligned fields is an asset.
